A summary of assessment practices

  • As a general rule, assessment is carried out on a scale of 1 to 5.
  • The lecturer must issue the course evaluation within four weeks of the end of the course or other agreed time frame, provided that the student has completed the course on time. The assessment period may be extended due to a teacher’s leave of absence or sick leave.
  • A written statement of theses will be provided, in addition to the numerical assessment.
  • Instructions on remote exams for students (in Finnish).
