The Jyväskylä campus is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the center of Korpilahti (Tähtiniementie 30, Korpilahti). You can take the train to the center of Jämsä or Jyväskylä, from where it is about 30 km to Korpilahti. From all over Finland, you can take a bus to the center of Korpilahti, which is about a 10-minute walk. The route crosses the Päijänne bay along the footbridge. Some of the buses coming from the direction of Jyväskylä travel all the way to the campus and return to Jyväskylä in the afternoon. You can view the timetables for buses and trains on Matkahuolto, Onnibus, or VR.

The Tutkintona Jyväskylä podcast (in Finnish) is a student’s guide to Jyväskylä. The city of Jyväskylä has launched this podcast series for students. During the first season, two Humak alumni Aapeli Tourunen and Sakari Siilin will get acquainted with the services of the City of Jyväskylä from the perspective of a student and a recent graduate. The episodes can be found on the most common podcast services. The episodes are in Finnish.

The Student Union HUMAKO’s tutors organize introductory events before the official start of the academic year, if the circumstances permit it. You can find more detailed information about the activities organized by the tutors, the dates, and contact information on HUMAKO’s website.
